At Distortions Unlimited, we work tirelessly in our nightmare factory to prepare your terrifying creations for shipment. All orders are processed within 1-2 business days after payment confirmation.
Shipping Methods & Delivery Times
We offer two shipping methods to deliver horror to your doorstep:
Standard Shipping – $12.95
- Carriers: DHL or FedEx
- Delivery Time: 10-15 business days after shipment
- Recommended for those who can’t wait to unleash their nightmares
Free Shipping
- Available for orders over $50
- Carrier: EMS
- Delivery Time: 15-25 business days after shipment
- Perfect for patient haunters building their collection of terror
Shipping Restrictions: We ship globally but cannot deliver to some Asian countries and remote locations where our ghouls fear to tread. If you’re unsure about delivery to your location, contact our customer service team before ordering.
Returns & Exchanges
When your nightmares need adjusting, our returns and exchanges policy is designed to make things right when the unexpected happens in your haunting experience.
Return Policy Overview
We accept returns and exchanges within 15 days of you receiving your items. To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- Unused and in the same condition as received
- In its original packaging with all tags attached
- Accompanied by the original receipt or proof of purchase
Non-Returnable Items
Due to the terrifying nature of our creations, certain items cannot be returned for safety and hygiene reasons:
- Masks – For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept returns on masks that have been worn
- Costumes that show signs of wear or have been used in events
- Custom-made or personalized items created specifically for your haunting needs
- Opened Frightronics and Shocktronics with damaged security seals
- Any items that have been used in outdoor displays or exposed to weather elements
The Return Process
Follow these steps to return an item to our nightmare factory:
- Contact Our Ghouls: Email our customer service team at [email protected] within 15 days of receiving your order. Use the return request template below to ensure we have all necessary information.
- Await Authorization: Our team will review your request and provide you with a Return Authorization Number (RAN) and shipping instructions. Do not send items without this authorization.
- Package Your Item: Carefully pack the item in its original packaging, including all parts, instructions, and documentation. Include a copy of your original order confirmation or packing slip.
- Ship to Our Lair: Send your package to the address provided with your RAN. We recommend using a trackable shipping service as you are responsible for the item until it reaches us.
- Inspection & Processing: Once received, our quality control ghouls will inspect the item. If approved, your refund or exchange will be processed within 5-7 business days.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
Refund Timeline
If approved, your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days, and a credit will automatically be applied to your original method of payment. Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 3-10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement.
Refund Method
Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. This includes:
- Visa, MasterCard, and JCB credit/debit cards
- PayPal accounts
Important Note: Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you received free shipping on your original order, the standard shipping fee will be deducted from your refund amount.
Exchanges
If you need to exchange an item for a different size or product, we’ll be happy to help once the original item is received and inspected.
- We will ship the replacement item once the return is processed
- If the exchange item costs more, you’ll need to pay the difference
- If the exchange item costs less, we’ll refund the difference
- Exchanges are subject to product availability
